Polymorphism (2022)

Format: digital dance with motion capture visualisation and interactive sound installation
Duration: 30 minutes

Polymorphism is a transdisciplinary project that investigates the hybrid connections between body and technology in relation to the space that hosts them.

The concept of Polymorphism takes on the meaning of an expanded, mutant body, which dialogues with the sensitive surfaces positioned in the surrounding space.

The project takes shape from the contamination of the text «Cuthulucene - Surviving on an infected planet», by the feminist philosopher Donna Haraway.

The performative act becomes a field of investigation to rediscover responsive-able contact with the Earth and awaken the human need to relate to all species, bodies and languages.

Direction, sound & light design: Consuelo Donati & Silvia Parolini
