In this collaboration, I created a serie of movement sculptures for the models to perform on site, drawing inspiration from the iconic movements of modern dancer Cunningham and the animalistic motifs. Bringing the story to life with vivid depictions of dreamlike polar landscapes, the Polar Byzantine is a true arctic odyssey that speaks to the soul.
The Polar Byzantine collection by Klaus Haapaniemi & Co. is a stunning display of storytelling and artisanal craftsmanship. With the poetic story penned by award-winning Finnish author, Rosa Liksom, the collection takes the audience on an enchanting journey through lyrical animal stories that stir deep emotions and connect us to the universal nature.
