In collaboration with Choreographer Amanda Donato, this stage work presented in 5 Acts, is a personal outpour of things that emerge when grieving the healthy mind and identity of a loved one. Flagged by massive subwoofers, A WAKE is set to an original low frequency score by Stefanie Egedy.

Donato’s body shrinks, breaks, dissociates, disintegrates and tangles in a surreal dreamlike landscape of memory.  In the final act, she works vigorously to knead dough as an offering and ode to her grandmother’s cooking: Trezza’s most repetitive and monumental channel of love.
